Plenty of noise comes from the exhaust, just less than the mk3 because of the gpf, it still pops and bangs but it's more muffled and you have to be in sport or cupra before it does it.

I got to disagree with the seats i drove my mates with the buckets seat and i actually prefer the normal seats, much better for day to day driving.

I have a Ford Focus 2020 ST-Line X 8 speed auto MK4 I have had non stop problems with this car. However, I persist because I like it. *short story* I got the vehicle on 9,000 miles. Prior to collecting from Company called Cazoo they stated the gearbox was broken. They stated they then fixed it with a ‘software update.’ Driving it for a while, I would notice when coming off the accelerator there would be a ticking sound. You could hear. However, disappeared when going back onto the accelerator. When shifting from P, R, N and D it has always been a bit jerky. It went to Ford numerous times and they always stated cannot find customers complaint with the engine and ticking noise as well as numerous engine, warning, lights and drivetrain problems popping up on the dash. Finally, it got to 30,000 and the engine blew up. Thankfully still under warranty with ONE day left. So at the moment on the clock, it’s down 33,000 miles in which three of those 30,000 have been driven on the new engine. So that is the story of this Focus, hopefully it helps. My one question if anyone can help or relate is: when I shift from R to D the car jolts forward every time as if you were driving a manual car and stalled. However, does not do this on a cold start. Ford are useless and can someone with a brain please shed some light. All other autos I’ve driven and other ford focus’ do NOT behave like this. Personally, I would not recommend a Focus unless its an engine above a 1.0L and a manual. Thank you so much!

I've just traded my '16 plate SEAT Leon 2.0TDI FR Technology (150bhp) for a Kia Picanto GT-Line S as it's my wife and myself at home now. I picked up a '21 plate special edition "Bumblebee" which was the last models with the old badge; it has black alloys and 110bhp which gives it a 0 - 62 time of 8.5 seconds - same as the Leon and a similar 50mpg! FANTASTIC!!!

This car is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Not a lot of cars can keep up, especially off the line.

What I’m hearing is this car has basically no issues, bar the passengers, who can’t complain cause you’re giving them a lift, and an automatic gearbox issue which is solved by going manual

On my second Focus, this one is the ST Line X. I do 60,000 miles a year plus. Great car, had it Ceramic Coated by SPR Detailing, car looks better than a showroom cat.

Good review! I actually like the seats. I've tried the buckets and they're a real pita for everyday driving, specifically getting in and out. As for the noise, it's a family car and I appreciate that you can drive with 300hp in a car that is quiet and not that much different to the 1.4 fr on the outside 😄

See I was looking into an Up! GTI and then discovered the picanto GT line S. Basically the same car but you get much more for your money at KIA with only the loss of good styling from VW. Definitely think I'm going for the KIA at 4k cheaper (2nd hand)

Its a budget brand what do you expect! Try and be original at least. In the last 25 yrs I have covered 750,000 miles in about 20 different cars. REPS know more about cars than most. There will never be a substitute for experience. Keep Well.

I have an April 2019 Ibiza Xcellence lux 1ltr 115bhp model, mine has 6 gears. I thought all the 115bhp models had 6 speed gear boxes.

I have a 2018 about a yar and a half now. Trouble with the entire suspension. It's been back to the main seat dealer 6 times now and they still cannot find a resolve for the creeky noises and poor feel. The main thing I dislike about the car is the not the cheap feel of every part of the car but the crappy fake noise in cupra mode. A good work around is go to individual mode and put all modes into cupra apart from the engine. When driving, put the box into sport and its still a more dynamic drive but without the fake noise

Got one with a plugin box. Pulls sooooo nice. Great car and i'm very satisfied

The Skoda Superb Sportline 206TSI has a 6 speed DSG not the 7 speed DSG The Golf R gets.

Quiet mode is still +40% louder than any normal 4 or 6 cyl car 😂

What a amazing car

I just brought the 1.0 ecoboost 125bhp and it's OK ish on normal short roads, but when you take it on a lomg road it's so lagging power. You put your foot down and it's like zzzzz stuck with it now for 4 years.

Have to agree with how the 8 speed auto works in urban 30mph area's with tarmac speed humps in "sport" it goes into crazy i dont know which gear to select and will rev its bollox off while it decides,this is in a 2021 Kuga 190 AWD,

Can anyone advise… does the ST line X come with the interior scuff “ST” guards and the alloy pedals, or is this something you have to buy extra? Same with the red break callipers. Is this standard on the ST line X or extra cost?

I got one and I love it! Only downside is the engine is slightly loud! Like when your pulling away in first it does get quite noisy and seems to have a loud turbo injection ticking sound! But other than that! I genuinely can’t fault how amazing this car is!

Funny enough I had a passenger ride in a 2021 Stang the other day,between 100 and 130 it sounded like a top fuel dragster,,,,well nearly, 👍🏁

This is a German mistake actually. We need a car not a plastic rubber. We know the price is fabulous, but it is really rubbish cheep plastic assembly. BMW and Mercedes has a quality plastic and materials plus engineering performance. Kia life is short after 5 years you will get lots of problems. Because, it is not a just design of body or Shane 🚗. Quality first, safety and security , comfortable and price of curse . Thanks In my 4 year experience, Kia rubbish customer service and support in UK.

Nice car but FIAT don't hold their value, better as a used buy only. I have owned four FIATs in my lifetime, had a TIPO in the 80s I really liked it back then, but looks odd now. Last car was a MAREA but had too many quality issues to mention, I'm sure quality will have improved in 20 years, but it rather destroys confidence in a brand, but its depreciation that kills FIATs for me.
